#GGWCUP | Huerta Argos FC plays for SDG 2 - Colombia 2023

Historic Debut in Medellín. The Global Goals World Cup (GGWCUP) arrived for the first time in Medellín, Colombia, marking its Latin American debut in April 2023. Nineteen teams competed in the tournament, with the winning team, Malala FC, taking home the championship while also playing for Global Goal 5. Their victory earned them a trip to the international GGWCUP Finals in Saudi Arabia in 2024.

Impact Hub Medellín hosted the tournament: Impact Hub Medellín, established in 2005 with the mission of strengthening entrepreneurial ecosystems closely aligned with the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), hosted the tournament. Led by a network of over 100 locations in more than 60 countries, Impact Hub develops programs that empower over 17,000 members worldwide.
