The GGWCUP Europe was the second tournament in Denmark and also marked the culmination of our first year-long Coach Program, with women participating from 12 different European countries. Coaches and teams came from Ireland, Czech Republic, Austria, Spain, Sweden, Malta, Germany, Romania, England, Scotland, Wales, Greece, and Denmark. In addition to these 12 European nations, the group of 75 players also represented a remarkable diversity of backgrounds, including Afghanistan, Syria, Iraq, Somalia, Congo, Eritrea, Morocco, Algeria, Egypt, Turkey, Tajikistan, Italy, Colombia, Kosovo, France, and Iran.
